Competition Rules

• All entry videos will be evaluated by independent judges. Their decisions are final.
• The judges evaluating entry videos will be different from those judging the live finals.
• Entry videos must be between 1 minute and 30 seconds and 2 minutes long. If a video exceeds 2 minutes, judges will stop watching at the 2-minute mark.
• Participants may submit the same routine they intend to perform in the finals or a different one.
• Videos of previous performances are accepted.
• Videos must be filmed in one continuous take, without editing or cuts. Recordings of stage performances are exempt from this requirement.
• Camera tilting, zooming, and sudden movements are prohibited. Only smooth, continuous camera tracking is permitted. Recordings of stage performances are exempt from these restrictions.
• The participant must remain visible throughout the entire performance.
• Submitted videos must be no more than 3 years old.
• Participants must submit an accessible video link. Uploading video files directly is not permitted. Please ensure that the video can be viewed without requesting access.

• Participants in the Newbae, Amateur, Lady 35+, Semi-Pro, and Men categories may request detailed feedback on their application video from one of our judges. This option is available only for applications submitted by December 10, 2026. Feedback and results will be sent via email by January 20, 2027.

• If you are unsure which category to apply in, please contact the organizer at olga.biserova@scorpions.lv when submitting your application.

• Application deadline: January 10, 2027, at 23:59 (GMT+2).
• Entry fee: €30 per video.

• The entry fee is non-refundable, except in cases specified in the Cash Prize Conditions.
• Results will be sent to all applicants via email by January 20, 2027.

• The competition is open to participants of all nationalities and from all countries.
• All competitors must be 18 years of age or older.
• All competitors must have a valid identification document (passport or national ID card).
• By qualifying for the Live Final, participants agree to perform and pay the applicable participation fee:

• Participation fees are non-refundable, except in cases specified in the Cash Prize Conditions, and cannot be transferred to the following year.
• Before the official announcement of the finalists, the organizing committee will contact each qualified participant individually via email.
• Qualified participants must confirm their participation by paying the participation fee within 48 hours of receiving their acceptance email.
• Registration for the Live Final is considered complete only once payment has been received. Only participants who have confirmed their participation and completed payment will be officially announced as finalists.
• If a finalist is unable to attend the Live Final for any reason, they must inform the organizer at least one week before the event. Failure to do so will result in a two-year ban from participating in Fusion Pole Championship.
• Competitors must not consume alcohol or any prohibited substances before performing.
• Human props are permitted, but each person must purchase an admission ticket.
• All props must be approved by the organizer no later than March 16, 2027.
• Competitors must inform the organizer in advance if their performance requires any stage cleanup. Prior approval is required.
• The judges reserve the right to stop a performance at any time if a competitor’s health or safety is at risk or if competition rules are violated.
• A performance may be restarted if technical difficulties beyond the competitor’s control occur during the first half of the routine.
• Competitors may choose to use only one pole without any deductions of points.
• During the competition, competitors are not permitted to communicate directly with the judges, sound engineer, or lighting team regarding their performances. All requests must go through the organizer.
• Competitors must perform their own original choreography or routines approved by all co-creators and ensure that all music, choreography, and performance materials comply with copyright laws. FPC is not responsible for any copyright violations or related claims.
• Any form of advertising or promotion during a performance is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
• The following are strictly prohibited during performances: political statements or representations, promotion of political or religious views, violence, racism, promotion of prohibited substances, and defamatory content.
• The use or display of national flags is strictly prohibited during performances and the awards ceremony.
• By participating in Fusion Pole Championship, competitors consent to being photographed and filmed throughout the event. FPC reserves the right to use this material for promotional and marketing purposes.
• The organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during the competition.
• FPC reserves the right to amend the competition rules, regulations, and terms. All participants will be notified of any changes.

• Nudity is strictly prohibited.
• Removing costume elements during a performance is allowed, provided the competitor remains appropriately covered at all times. Items such as skirts, coats, jackets, and masks may be removed. The organizer must be informed in advance, and all removed items must be cleared from the stage after the performance.
• Male competitors are allowed to perform topless.
• Costumes and props must not interfere with the performance or compromise safety.
• Makeup and body paint are permitted, provided they do not stain or damage the stage, poles, or other competitors.
• The use of liquids, fire, needles, sharp objects, or other hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
• Costumes must not display visible brand logos, advertisements, or promotional content.
• Body oils, lotions, or other products that may damage the equipment or make the poles slippery are prohibited.
• Competitors may clean their own poles before performing. Pole cleaning staff will also be available.
• Grip aids such as Dry Hands, Mighty Grip, talc, iTac2, and chalk are permitted for personal use only. These products must not be applied directly to the poles.
• Competitors requiring special grip products must contact the organizer in advance for approval. Exceptions may be considered on an individual basis.
